Very Solid little game. I definitely haven't played any other game like it before. I like the super uniqueness behind it. I also like the art style. I liked the subtle unsettling nature of it. Lots of little things to like about this game and I can't really find anything to pick apart about it. Good Job!
This was one of the most unsettling things I've played in awhile. The themes really came across after the second time I played it and I don't think I've seen the themes portrayed like this before. Extremely well done!

Really fun game! It was a nice change of pace compared to the usual indie horror games. Nice atmosphere and good camera placement making for some symbolic & cinematic scenes
I really felt this game was watching me and judging me. Each action I did felt like there was a consequence but wasn't. I really enjoyed the game and the only option I had was to move forward.
This game was strange. Going into it, I thought it'd be a normal horror game that would have the occasional jumpscares and gameplay to match, but it felt different.
First and foremost, I wouldn't call any of the "jumpscares" in this game to be true jumpscares. Yes, they can catch you off-guard because you're not expecting them, but they didn't feel scary; the texture chosen for them felt off, but it was more of the little startle people get when they're approached by someone out of the blue. With this in mind, I will say it kept me on my toes on expecting more little startles, and even when they didn't show up, the paranoia was definitely there.
The later half of the game (after walking down the hallway of dread) felt disconnected. Even with the distorted voices talking over each other in the background noise, it just felt like it lost the "horror" aspect and fell down the rabbit hole of wanting to be a deep metaphor. While the game did have deep metaphor in it (I read the description and got the gist of it from the slideshow portion of the game), it just felt like the two parts of the game clashed in a way that felt undermining. In one half, you have someone that feels like they're losing their sanity, while in the other, it's as if they have clarity. This sounds amazing on paper, but the execution and narrative missed the mark.
If you are looking to play this 5 minute game, read the description on it's itch page, take your time exploring the first section (there's more than 3 jumpscares!), and take your time digesting the message; it's a great concept of a game, but semi-poor execution.
great game, i love how you put three shitty jump scares at the start to build up paranoia only to never have a jump scare after but always make us tense and expecting it. and i like how the character finds what he wants and becomes a boss but still winds up in the same boring hallways that hold him prisoner.
